When designing my characters I had a certain theme that inspired the idea which I was aiming to portray. My character idea for the panda was a barbarian/ dominant hunter that represented the idea of nature still posses power and strength and can prove a formidable foe against the arrogance and naivety of a so called dominant species we claim in humanity.

The character model that inspired the look and characteristics of my character was the alien hunter The Predators. The Predators are extraterrestrial alien warrior species that hunt other dangerous species for sport and also to claim their skulls as trophies. I thought the concept of this creature was very ironic and fit the purpose of the character model. The character portrays all the same characteristics as humans however unlike humanity they do not prey on the weak and defenceless only other foes that pose a equal threat.
